The dream tape was done over the series of four sleepless nights. At the time, I had just moved back to Los Angeles and was living in a tiny two bedroom apartment with my dad after my living situation collapsed from under me. I went through a period where I would wake up in the middle of the night and not be able to go back to sleep until nearly the morning. After a week of this I began making beats every night until I fell asleep at my desk. It wasn't until I released the dream tape that the cycle had been broken.
